Every Heart Deserves a Place to Belong
Bridgette is a real black cat with a very special story.
She once shared a home with her person and her animal family. When life unexpectedly changed and they found themselves without a home, they faced an uncertain journey together.
Through difficult days, unexpected changes, love and loss, and the kindness of people along the way, Bridgette's story became one of resilience, compassion and hope.
Eventually, Bridgette's journey brought her to Hearts4Paws Rescue, where we had the privilege of becoming a small part of her story. She quickly touched our hearts, and as she continues preparing for her next chapter, our hope is that soon she will find the loving forever home she deserves.
Bridgette's Journey of Hope is inspired by her true story and gently introduces young readers to homelessness, love, loss, compassion, community and second chances — while reminding us that sometimes, home isn't a place at all. It's who we have beside us.
